Sleeping Capsules
Everynight in the last 15 minutes right before I finally fall asleep, I listen to audio recordings; be it podcast, music, or audiobook. I am ambivalant about this almost drug-like application. Either this condition is a good opportunity, a time slot, to condition myself and induce extra information, more subtle or sinister than the daily newscast, or it is a field for experimentation and an actual opportunity to improve and assure my mental health. I wonder why I am reluctant to just lying in my bed in silence, going through the events of the day. I want to propose a device that collects sound fragments during the day, like an accoustic CCTV microphone, and plays them back to me in the last 15 minutes of the day. So that I can let go …
The device looks like a brooch, accompanies me during the day, and accepts a headphone plugin during the night.
