surface scanner musical instrument
 a small instrument ( build on a single pcb ) that scans the surface beneath with 16 individual sensor. the detected gradiant is transformed into a 16-step sequence. *everyday* surfaces like newspapers, photographs, or textiles are turned into loops. this idea can also serve as an example in low-cost PCB design. maybe this is the first NMI i can sell.
