I am intrigued by the notion of the invisible. There a two categories of the invisible the virtual and the physical. the physical is actually only invisble to our senses although it is physically there. the virtual is the remaining rest and only visible through mediated translation.

The earlier fascinates me. The most prominent example of course is the Hertzian Space. But there is other relevant examples. A contemporary example is the nuclear radiation. Our fear of the toxicity, the invisible and slow death. Then there is smell. Tiny molecules send from the source of smell, like a pizza, a flower, or a clochard to the receiver, our noses, connecting to the sensors in our bodies. i am wondering what happens to the smell molecules after they are ‘smelled’? do they become part of our bodies?
